Anne Payton is an artist working from her studio in rural Berkshire. Using predominantly oil paints and watercolour, Anne's work is project-based, responding to a variety of themes.

After studying theatre design, Anne went on to become a scenic artist at theatres including the Watermill Theatre, Newbury to The National, London and lots in between.

In her studio she concentrates on both watercolour and oils, as well as exploring other mediums including gold, clay and printmaking.
